Stainless Steel Chopping Board

Stainless Steel Chopping Board

Stainless steel chopping boards, or cutting boards, in three sizes: 31 × 21 cm for chillies, garlic and herbs, 36 × 25 cm for daily vegetables, and 41 × 31 cm for meat, fish and big batches. A steel board doesn't soak up juices or smells, and you can wash it with hot, soapy water after cutting meat or fish.

Which size?

  • 31 × 21 cm, 0.44 kg: a small board for chillies, garlic, herbs and fruit.
  • 36 × 25 cm, 0.61 kg: an everyday size for vegetables.
  • 41 × 31 cm, 0.94 kg: room for a whole chicken, a fish or a big batch of onions.

Steel, wood or plastic?

Wood and plastic boards pick up knife cuts that hold juices and smells. Steel doesn't absorb anything and doesn't crack or warp, so one board can go from raw meat to fruit after a wash. Steel is harder on knife edges than wood, so sharpen your knives now and then.

To keep chopped vegetables in the fridge, see our airtight steel containers. To cook them, see our cast iron kadai range.
